About us

Veterinary clinic “BIOVET” was founded on December 12, 2007. Although from the very beginning we could be proud of a strong team of knowledge and practice, over time, we have gained more and more experience in various fields of veterinary medicine. In order to provide a full range of veterinary services, our team consists of veterinarians specializing in the fields of therapy, dermatology, traumatology, surgery, oncology, who individually and all together will provide your pet with the most effective help. Our specialists regularly update their knowledge in local and international congresses and seminars, following the latest trends and technologies in the field of veterinary medicine.

The arsenal of the veterinary clinic “BIOVET” has modern equipment that allows for on-site blood analysis, X-ray and ultrasonographic examinations. If necessary, we cooperate with the Veterinary Clinic of the Latvia University of Agriculture, BIOR Microbiology and Pathology Laboratory, as well as LABOKLIN Laboratory in Germany.

Сlinic services

Veterinary consultations

The day-to-day work of a veterinarian includes advising pet owners on the pet’s health, nutrition, vaccination and necessary preventive procedures. In case of illness of the pet, clinical and laboratory examinations, diagnosis and further monitoring of the disease are performed.

Vaccinations

Vaccination is a way to protect your pet from the most common diseases that threaten pet’s health.
In our clinic, clinically healthy pets are vaccinated according to a standard schedule using proven and safe drugs. The first vaccination is given at the age of 8 weeks (2 months), followed by revaccination at the age of 12 weeks (3 months). The frequency of vaccination depends on the animal species, lifestyle, age and medical history. Some animals should be vaccinated every year, while others less frequently – every 2-3 years.

Laboratory and radiological
examinations

We offer laboratory, X-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy examinations.

Medical procedures and surgery

The specialists of our veterinary clinic offer a wide range of manipulations to provide help and treatment to your pet.
